My ROCK of Ages is the Cornerstone of our Father’s House, a House of Prayer on

His Holy Mountain

Yahweh,

who shall dwell in Your Sanctuary?

Who shall live on Your Holy Hill?

He who walks blamelessly does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; He who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man;  In whose eyes a vile man is despised, but who honors those who fear Yahweh; he who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn’t change; he who doesn’t lend out his money for usury, nor take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be shaken.
Psalm 15

Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established. The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.  Exodus 15:17,18

The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.   For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.   Who may ascend to Yahweh’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place?   He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.   He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation.   This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face—even Jacob. Selah.   Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.   Who is the King of glory? Yahweh strong and mighty, Yahweh mighty in battle.   Lift up your heads, you gates; yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.  Who is this King of glory? Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah.  Psalms 24

Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men. For you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? Oh, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, To your tents. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God. Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God. Psalms 43

Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Yet again they will use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I reverse their captivity: ‘Yahweh bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.’  Judah and all its cities will dwell therein together, the farmers, and those who go about with flocks. For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”   Jeremiah 31:23-25

  • 1 Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 and were all baptized to Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the ROCK was Christ. I Corinthians 10:1-4

3 The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: One who rules over men righteously, Who rules in the fear of God,
    II Samuel 23:3

You will have a song, as in the night when a holy feast is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a flute to come to Yahweh’s mountain, to Israel’s Rock.  Isaiah 30:29

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.  I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.  I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”  Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ.  Matthew 16:16-20

3 For I will proclaim the name of Yahweh: Ascribe you greatness to our God. 4 The Rock, his work is perfect; For all his ways are justice: A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, Just and right is he. 15 But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked: You have grown fat, you are grown thick, you are become sleek; Then he forsook God who made him, Lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. 18 Of the Rock that became your father, you are unmindful, Have forgotten God who gave you birth. 28 For they are a nation void of counsel, There is no understanding in them. 29 Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, That they would consider their latter end! 30 How should one chase a thousand, Two put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, Yahweh had delivered them up? 31 For their rock is not as our Rock, Even our enemies themselves being judges.
    Deuteronomy 32:3,4,15,18,31

  • Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.  I Samuel 7:12

2 and he said, Yahweh is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine; 3 God, my rock, in him will I take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; My savior, you save me from violence.
31 As for God, his way is perfect: The word of Yahweh is tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. 32 For who is God, save Yahweh? Who is a rock, save our God? 33 God is my strong fortress; He guides the perfect in his way. 34 He makes his feet like hinds` feet, Sets me on my high places.
47 Yahweh lives; Blessed be my rock; Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation, 48 Even the God who executes vengeance for me, Who brings down peoples under me, 49 Who brings me forth from my enemies: Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me; You deliver me from the violent man. 50 Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, Will sing praises to your name. 51 Great deliverance gives he to his king, Shows lovingkindness to his anointed, To David and to his seed, forevermore.
    II Samuel 22:2, 3, 31-34, 47-51.

1 In you, Yahweh, do I take refuge. Let me never be put to shame: Deliver me in your righteousness. 2 Bow down your ear to me. Deliver me speedily. Be to me a strong ROCK, A house of defense to save me. 3 For you are my ROCK and my fortress, Therefore for your name`s sake lead me and guide me. 4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me, For you are my stronghold. 5 Into your hand I commend my spirit. You redeem me, Yahweh, God of truth.
    Psalms 31:1-5

1 Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the ROCK that is higher than I. 3 For you have been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy. 4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.
    Psalms 61:1-4

1 In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be put to shame. 2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me. 3 Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, For you are my ROCK and my fortress.
    Psalms 71:1-3

1 Yahweh, you God to whom vengeance belongs, You God to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth. 2 Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve. 3 Yahweh, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph? 4 They pour out arrogant words. All the evil-doers boast. 5 They break your people in pieces, Yahweh, And afflict your heritage. 6 They kill the widow and the alien, And murder the fatherless. 7 They say, “Yah will not see, Neither will Jacob`s God consider.” 8 Consider, you senseless among the people; You fools, when will you be wise? 9 He who implanted the ear, won`t he hear? He who formed the eye, won`t he see? 10 He who disciplines the nations, won`t he punish? He who teaches man knows. 11 Yahweh knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile. 12 Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah, And teach out of your law; 13 That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked. 14 For Yahweh won`t reject his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance. 15 For judgment will return to righteousness. All the upright in heart shall follow it. 16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against the evil-doers? 17 Unless Yahweh had been my help, My soul would have soon lived in silence. 18 When I said, “My foot is slipping!” Your lovingkindness, Yahweh, held me up. 19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me, Your comforts delight my soul. 20 Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, Which brings about mischief by statute? 21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, And condemn the innocent blood. 22 But Yahweh has been my high tower, My God, the ROCK of my refuge. 23 He has brought on them their own iniquity, And will cut them off in their own wickedness. Yahweh, our God, will cut them off. Psalm 94

  • 2 There is none holy as Yahweh; For there is none besides you, Neither is there any rock like our God.
    I Samuel 2:2

1 I love you, Yahweh, my strength. 2 Yahweh is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. 3 I will call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. 4 The cords of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid. 5 The cords of Sheol were round about me; The snares of death came on me. 6 In my distress I called on Yahweh, And cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple, My cry before him came into his ears. 7 Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, Because he was angry. 8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, Fire out of his mouth devoured; Coals were kindled by it. 9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet. 10 He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind. 11 He made darkness his hiding-place, his pavilion around him, Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies. 12 At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, Hailstones and coals of fire. 13 Yahweh also thundered in the sky, The Most High uttered his voice, Hailstones and coals of fire. 14 He sent out his arrows, and scattered them; Yes, lightnings manifold, and routed them. 15 Then the channels of waters appeared, The foundations of the world were laid bare, At your rebuke, Yahweh, At the blast of the breath of your nostrils. 16 He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters. 17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; for they were too mighty for me. 18 They came on me in the day of my calamity, But Yahweh was my support. 19 He brought me forth also into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me. 20 Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me. 21 For I have kept the ways of Yahweh, And have not wickedly departed from my God. 22 For all his ordinances were before me. I didn`t put away his statutes from me. 23 I was also blameless with him. I kept myself from my iniquity. 24 Therefore has Yahweh recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. 25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect. 26 With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd. 27 For you will save the afflicted people, But the haughty eyes you will bring down. 28 For you will light my lamp. Yahweh, my God, will light up my darkness. 29 For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall. 30 As for God, his way is perfect. The word of Yahweh is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. 31 For who is God, except Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God, 32 The God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect? 33 He makes my feet like hinds` feet, And sets me on my high places. 34 He teaches my hands to war; So that my arms bend a bow of bronze. 35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great. 36 You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped. 37 I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. Neither will I turn again until they are consumed. 38 I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet. 39 For you have girded me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. 40 You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, That I might cut off those who hate me. 41 They cried, but there was none to save; Even to Yahweh, but he didn`t answer them. 42 Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets. 43 You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me. 44 As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me. 45 The foreigners shall fade away, And shall come trembling out of their close places. 46 Yahweh lives; and blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation, 47 Even the God who executes vengeance for me, And subdues peoples under me. 48 He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man. 49 Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, And will sing praises to your name. 50 He gives great deliverance to his king, And shows lovingkindness to his anointed, To David and to his seed, forevermore. Psalm 19 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.
    Psalms 18

1 To you, Yahweh, I call. My rock, don`t be deaf to me; Lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit. 2 Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, When I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
    Psalms 28:1,2

8 Yahweh will command his lovingkindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: A prayer to the God of my life. 9 I will ask God, my ROCK, “Why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?” 10 As with a sword in my bones, my adversaries reproach me, While they continually ask me, “Where is your God?” 11 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, The saving help of my countenance, and my God.
    Psalms 42:8-11

1 My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him. 2 He alone is my ROCK and my salvation, my fortress — I will never be greatly shaken. 3 How long will you assault a man, Would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence? 4 They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. 5 My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my expectation is from him. 6 He alone is my ROCK and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. 7 With God is my salvation and my honor. The ROCK of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. 9 Surely men of low degree are just a breath, And men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath. 10 Don`t trust in oppression. Don`t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, Don`t set your heart on them. 11 God has spoken once, Twice have I heard this, That power belongs to God. 12 Also to you, Lord, belongs lovingkindness, For you reward every man according to his work. Psalm 63 A Psalm by David, when he was in the desert of Judah.
    Psalms 62

34 When he killed them, then they inquired after him. They returned and sought God earnestly. 35 They remembered that God was their ROCK, The Most High God their redeemer.
    Psalms 78:34,35

1 I will sing of the lovingkindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations. 2 I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.” 3 “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant, 4 `I will establish your seed forever, And build up your throne to all generations.`” Selah. 5 The heavens will praise your wonders, Yahweh; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. 6 For who in the skies can be compared to Yahweh? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like Yahweh, 7 A very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, To be feared above all those who are around him? 8 Yahweh, God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like you? Yah, your faithfulness is around you. 9 You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them. 10 You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm. 11 The heavens are yours, the earth also is yours; The world and its fullness. You have founded them. 12 The north and the south, you have created them. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name. 13 You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted. 14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Lovingkindness and truth go before your face. 15 Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, Yahweh. 16 In your name do they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted. 17 For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted. 18 For our shield belongs to Yahweh; Our king to the Holy One of Israel. 19 Then you spoke in vision to your saints, And said, “I have bestowed strength on the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people. 20 I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil, 21 With whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him. 22 No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him. 23 I will beat down his adversaries before him, And strike those who hate him. 24 But my faithfulness and my lovingkindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted. 25 I will set his hand also on the sea, And his right hand on the rivers. 26 He will call to me, `You are my Father, My God, and the ROCK of my salvation!` 27 I will also appoint him my firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth. 28 I will keep my lovingkindness for him forevermore. My covenant will stand firm with him. 29 I will also make his seed endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven. 30  If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances; 31  if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments; 32  then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. 33  But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail. 34  I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered. 35  Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David. 36  His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me. 37  It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah. 38  But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed. 39  You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust. 40  You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin. 41  All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors. 42  You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice. 43  Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, and haven’t supported him in battle. 44  You have ended his splendor, and thrown his throne down to the ground. 45  You have shortened the days of his youth. You have covered him with shame. Selah. 46  How long, Yahweh? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire? 47  Remember how short my time is! For what vanity have you created all the children of men! 48  What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah. 49  Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness? 50  Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples, 51  With which your enemies have mocked, Yahweh, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one. 52  Blessed be Yahweh forever more. Amen, and Amen.

    Psalms 89

10 But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil. 11 My eye has also seen my enemies, My ears have heard of the evil-doers who rise up against me. 12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 They are planted in Yahweh`s house. They will flourish in our God`s courts. 14 They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green, 15 To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my ROCK, and there is no unrighteousness in him.  Psalms 92:10-15

1 Oh come, let us sing to Yahweh. Let us make a joyful noise to the ROCK of our salvation! 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let us make a joyful noise to him with psalms! 3 For Yahweh is a great God, A great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his. 5 The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Yahweh, our Maker, 7 For he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, oh that you would hear his voice! 8 Don`t harden your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness, 9 When your fathers tempted me, Tested me, and saw my work. 10 Forty long years I was grieved with that generation, And said, “It is a people that errs in their heart. They have not known my ways.” 11 Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They won`t enter into my rest.”  Psalms 95

10 For you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not been mindful of the rock of your strength; therefore you plant pleasant plants, and set it with strange slips.  Isaiah 17:10

  • But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked: You have grown fat, you are grown thick, you are become sleek; Then he forsook God who made him, Lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

  • 11 Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When evil-doers came at me to eat up my flesh, Even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, Even then I will be confident. 4 One thing have I asked of Yahweh, that will I seek after, That I may dwell in the house of Yahweh all the days of my life, To see the beauty of Yahweh, And to inquire in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the covert of his tent will he hide me. He will lift me up on a ROCK. 6 Now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh.
    Psalms 27:1-6

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:  This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.  I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.  The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.  This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.  Psalms 118:19-23

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.   Isaiah 28:13-17

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. Matthew 21:42-44

13 Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am ?” 14 They said, “Some say John the Baptizer, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 I also tell you, that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. 19 I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and whatever you will loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he charged the disciples that they should tell no man that he was the Christ.
    Matthew 16:13-20

And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.  Luke 20:17-18

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?  Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,  If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.   Acts 4:7-12

For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Ephesians 2:18-22

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:  If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.  To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.   I Peter 2:1-10

  • May Yahweh answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high, send you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion,  remember all your offerings, and accept your burned sacrifice. Selah.  May He grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel.  We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May Yahweh grant all your requests.  Now I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Yahweh our God.  They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.   Save, Yahweh! Let the King answer us when we call! Psalms 20

Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.  Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the north sides, the city of the great King.  God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge. For, behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together.  They saw it, then they were amazed. They were dismayed. They hurried away. Trembling took hold of them there, pain, as of a woman in travail. With the east wind, you break the ships of Tarshish.  As we have heard, so we have seen, in the city of Yahweh of Armies, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever. Selah.  We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the middle of your temple.  As is your name, God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is full of righteousness. Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of your judgments.  Walk about Zion, and go around her. Number its towers. Mark well her bulwarks. Consider her palaces, that you may tell it to the next generation. For this God is our God forever and ever. He will be our guide even to death. Pslams 48

His foundation is in the holy mountains.   Yahweh loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.   Glorious things are spoken about you, city of God. Selah.   I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me. Behold, Philistia, Tyre, and also Ethiopia: “This one was born there.”   Yes, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one was born in her;” the Most High himself will establish her.   Yahweh will count, when he writes up the peoples, “This one was born there.” Selah.   Those who sing as well as those who dance say, “All my springs are in you.” Psalms 87

Yahweh reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned among the cherubim. Let the earth be moved.  Yahweh is great in Zion. He is high above all the peoples.  Let them praise your great and awesome name. He is Holy!   The King’s strength also loves justice. You do establish equity. You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.  Exalt Yahweh our God. Worship at his footstool. He is Holy!   Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel among those who call on his name; they called on Yahweh, and he answered them.  He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, the statute that he gave them.  You answered them, Yahweh our God. You are a God who forgave them, although you took vengeance for their doings.  Exalt Yahweh, our God. Worship at his holy hill, for Yahweh, our God, is holy! Psalms 99

For Yahweh has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.  “This is my resting place forever. Here I will live, for I have desired it.  Psalm 132:13,14

The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.  Yahweh of Armies says: “I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.”  Yahweh says: “I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the middle of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called ‘The City of Truth;’ and the mountain of Yahweh of Armies, ‘The Holy Mountain.’”   Yahweh of Armies says: “Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.  The streets of the city will be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.”   Yahweh of Armies says: “If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes?” says Yahweh of Armies.   Yahweh of Armies says: “Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; and I will bring them, and they will dwell within Jerusalem; and they will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”   Yahweh of Armies says: “Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that the foundation of the house of Yahweh of Armies was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.  For before those days there was no wages for man, nor any wages for an animal; neither was there any peace to him who went out or came in, because of the adversary. For I set all men everyone against his neighbor.  But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days,” says Yahweh of Armies.  “For the seed of peace and the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will give its increase, and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.  It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don’t be afraid. Let your hands be strong.”  For Yahweh of Armies says: “As I thought to do evil to you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and I didn’t repent;  so again I have thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Don’t be afraid.  These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates, and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate,” says Yahweh.  The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.  Yahweh of Armies says: “The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.”  Yahweh of Armies says: “Many peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come; and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying, ‘Let’s go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Armies. I will go also.’  Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek Yahweh of Armies in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.” Yahweh of Armies says: “In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, ‘We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”  Zechariah 8

But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,  to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.  See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,  whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”  This phrase, “Yet once more”, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.  Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,  for our God is a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:22-29

  • In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain!”  For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.  If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?  Yahweh is in his holy temple. Yahweh is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men.  Yahweh examines the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.  On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. For Yahweh is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face. Psalms 11

Yahweh’s voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, “Glory!”  Yahweh sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, Yahweh sits as King forever. Yahweh will give strength to his people. Yahweh will bless his people with peace.  Psalms 29:9-11

A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.  Ascribe strength to God! His excellency is over Israel, his strength is in the skies.  You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God!  Psalms 68:5,34,35

So the nations will fear Yahweh’s name; all the kings of the earth your glory.  For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.  He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.  This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise Yah.  For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, Yahweh saw the earth;  to hear the groans of the prisoner; to free those who are condemned to death; that men may declare Yahweh’s name in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;  when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh. Psalms 102:15-22

  • This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.  It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many peoples shall go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go out, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.  House of Jacob, come, and let’s walk in the light of Yahweh. Isaiah 2:1-5

A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.  Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.  His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;  but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked. Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.  The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.  The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.  The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.  They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.  It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.  It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.  He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.  The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won’t envy Judah, and Judah won’t persecute Ephraim.  They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon will obey them.   Yahweh will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.  There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, like there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.   Isaiah 11

But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it.  Many nations will go and say, “Come! Let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem;  and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.  But they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and no one will make them afraid: For the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken.  Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.  “In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted; and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.”  You, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come, yes, the former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.  Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?  Be in pain, and labor to give birth, daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you will go out of the city, and will dwell in the field, and will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.  Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, “Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion.” But they don’t know the thoughts of Yahweh, neither do they understand his counsel; for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.  Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass; and you will beat in pieces many peoples: and I will devote their gain to Yahweh, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.   Micah 4

  • The mountains of Bashan are majestic mountains. The mountains of Bashan are rugged.  Why do you look in envy, you rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign? Yes, Yahweh will dwell there forever.  The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, from Sinai, into the sanctuary.  You have ascended on high. You have led away captives. You have received gifts among people, yes, among the rebellious also, that Yah God might dwell there. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation. Selah.  God is to us a God of deliverance. To Yahweh, the Lord, belongs escape from death.  Psalm 68:15-20

I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they will not benefit you.  When you cry, let those whom you have gathered deliver you; but the wind will take them. a breath will carry them all away: but he who takes refuge in me will possess the land, and will inherit my holy mountain.”  He will say, “Build up, build up, prepare the way! Remove the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.”  For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.   For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.  I was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness, and struck him; I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.  I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.  I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says Yahweh; “and I will heal them.”  But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can’t rest, and its waters cast up mire and mud.  “There is no peace”, says my God, “for the wicked.” Isaiah 57:13-20

It will happen that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.  The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. Dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Yahweh.  Isaiah 65:24,25

  • “My servant David will be king over them. They all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.  They will dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived. They will dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever. David my servant will be their prince forever.  Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will place them, multiply them, and will set my sanctuary among them forever more.  My tent also will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.  The nations will know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is among them forever more.”  Ezekiel 37:24-28

‘I will have respect for you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.   You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new.   I will set my tent among you, and my soul won’t abhor you.  I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you will be my people.  I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves. I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.  Leviticus 26:9-13

The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

  • I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps. They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth. These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless. I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people. He said with a loud voice, “Fear the Lord, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!” Another, a second angel, followed, saying, “Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.” Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”   Revelation 14:1-12

I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.  I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.   I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.”   He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”  He said to me, “I have become the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.  He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.   But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”  One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb’s bride.”  He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,  having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, as if it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal;  having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.  On the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.  The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.  He who spoke with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.  The city is square, and its length is as great as its width. He measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand twelve stadia. Its length, width, and height are equal.  Its wall is one hundred forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.  The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.  The foundations of the city’s wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; and the twelfth, amethyst.  The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.  I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.   The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.  The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.  Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),  and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.   There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.  Revelation 21

Yahweh,

who shall dwell in Your Sanctuary?

Who shall live on Your Holy Hill?

  • Paul stood in the middle of the Areopagus, and said, “You men of Athens, I perceive that you are very religious in all things.  For as I passed along, and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ What therefore you worship in ignorance, this I announce to you.  The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.
He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings,  that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.  ‘For in him we live, and move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’  Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man.  The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent, because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”  Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked; but others said, “We want to hear you again concerning this.” Thus Paul went out from among them. But certain men joined with him, and believed, among whom also was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.  Acts 17:22-34

  • They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood, out of every tribe, language, people, and nation, and made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign on the earth.”  Revelation 5:9,10

  • After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”  All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?” I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood. Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them. They will never be hungry, neither thirsty any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat;  for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”  Revelation 7:9-17

  • And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints.  And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And have made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.   Revelation 5:8-10

  • I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for ALL peoples.”  Isaiah 56:7

  • Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.  Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.  Matthew 28:18-20

  • Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,  as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow,  if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious:  coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.  You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.  Because it is contained in Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”  For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected, has become the chief cornerstone,”   and, “a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.”For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.  But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:  who in time past were no people, but now are God’s people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.   Beloved, I beg you as foreigners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;  having good behavior among the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they see, glorify God in the day of visitation.  I Peter 2:1-12

  • Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus; who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.  For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.  For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.  Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken, but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.  Hebrews 3:1-6

“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.  In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.  If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.  Where I go, you know, and you know the way.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.  John 14:1-6

  • But from those who were reputed to be important (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn’t show partiality to man)—they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me, but to the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the Good News for the uncircumcised, even as Peter with the Good News for the circumcised (for he who worked through Peter in the apostleship with the circumcised also worked through me with the Gentiles);  and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.  They only asked us to remember the poor—which very thing I was also zealous to do.  Galatians 2:6-10

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.  Revelation 2:12

  • Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?  If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.  I Corinthians 3:16, 17

For Yahweh says, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant:  I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name, that will not be cut off.  Also the foreigners who join themselves to Yahweh, to serve him, and to love Yahweh’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant; I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”  Isaiah 56:4-7

How do I find the Holy Mountain?

Paths of Righteousness lead to the House of Prayer on the Holy Mountain!

Please, Shepherd and Bishop of my soul, lead me….

Isaiah 2:2-5

Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing.  He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.  He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.  Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever.  Psalm 23
